Delete your Bumbei account

You can delete your Bumbei account and its data at any time, from the app or with the form below.

From the app (fastest)

  1. 1Open Bumbei and sign in.
  2. 2Go to Profile → Delete account.
  3. 3Enter the 6-digit code we email you to confirm.

Withdraw your sats first: it's free, from 1 sat. If you delete your account with a balance, you give up your available and pending sats.

Without the app

Enter the email of your Bumbei account. We'll write to that address to confirm it's you, and delete the account within 30 days of your confirmation.

What we delete

  • Your profile: name, email, phone and username.
  • Your sign-in methods and active sessions.
  • Your Lightning address and app settings.
  • Push notification tokens.

What we keep

  • Records of purchases, rewards and withdrawals, without your personal data.

We keep these for accounting, tax and fraud-prevention purposes for as long as the law requires (usually up to 7 years), with restricted access. They are not used to contact you.
